Fundraiser for Sewing Training Program at Niranjana Learning Centre

Limited access to education and job opportunities are among the challenges faced by the women of the rural village of Bodhgaya, India. To help address these challenges, a fundraising campaign is being launched to start a sewing skills training program at the Niranjana learning centre.

The centre is a school that provides education and support for children in the village, and the space will offer a space for women to learn new skills, build community, and create economic opportunities for themselves and their families.

The goal is to raise AUD$3400, which will cover the cost of purchasing four sewing machines, materials, and the annual salary for the teacher.

This will cover the cost of purchasing 4 sewing machines (40,000 rupees), materials (20,000 rupees), and the annual salary for the teacher (120,000 rupees).
