With your help two years ago Niranjana Learning Centre was established. Since then it has transformed the lives of many underprivileged children in Bihar, India, as well as the local community.

The school land and building are rented on a monthly basis and to give the children more security for their future education we are raising funds to purchase land and construct a school nearby that can house more classrooms, be expanded in the future and is not reliant on rental lease renewals to run.

Limited access to education and job opportunities are among the challenges faced by the women of the rural village of Bodhgaya, India. To help address these challenges, a fundraising campaign is being launched to start a sewing skills training program at the Niranjana learning centre.

The centre is a school that provides education and support for children in the village, and the space will offer a space for women to learn new skills, build community, and create economic opportunities for themselves and their families.

The goal is to raise AUD$3400, which will cover the cost of purchasing four sewing machines, materials, and the annual salary for the teacher.

This fundraiser aims to raise money to cover the running cost of the Niranjana Learning Centre in 2023-24. These expenses include teachers’ salaries, rent, food, uniforms, booking, electricity, water, and other necessary expenses that are essential to the functioning of the Centre.

This fundraiser is to support Hundred School Project to construct and launch of Niranjana Learning Centre (Grade 1 and Grade 2) in April 2022. The objective of the school is to offer high quality and free education (using English as main language) for children from disadvantaged families in Bodhgaya.

99% of the school children in Darwo Dayapuri PS were coming to school without shoes.

100 School Project helped 150 families during the Covid-19 pandemic with staple food to help them to get through the cold winter months.

Hundreds of homeless families migrate to the riverbank of Niranjana river near Bodhgaya, India to seek shelter and food each winter. They build temporary mud houses with no electricity and running water.

We would like to give these families a helping hand by providing staple food such as rice, salt, wheat flour, potatoes and etc. to each family in the few weeks.

A pop-up food stall was set up in RMIT city campus on 6th and 7th September 2017 to raise money for Hundred School Project. We appreciated the kind support from RMIT University in providing us with this opportunity and beautiful space.

2018 Fundraising Lunch for Schools in India held at Gaylord, Melbourne.

We are running our 2nd fundraising dinner on 28 October 2017 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Lentils As Anything, Abbotsford.

The proceeds will be used to manufacture 192 sets of study desks and chairs for six primary schools in the Gaya region of Bihar, India.

Dinner for a Good Cause

The proceeds from this charity dinner will be used towards the fabrication and donation of 40 study desks to a rural school in Sultanpur Village located 30km away from Bodhgaya, Bihar, India.

The study desks will benefit 250 students in this rural school where school children are currently studying on the floor.

Our aim is to raise $2,800 to cover the cost of fabricating the 40 study desks for Sultanpuh Primary School in Sultanpuh Village.
